Part 2 - (Section 2 of 3): Real Life Stories From People Suffering Stress, Anxiety and Depression

In this section we get to watch and listen to some real life stories from people who have gone through stress, anxiety or depression.  They give you some insight on what it was really like when fighting their emotional ride against stress, anxiety or depression.  There is also some information given here from doctors as well where you will learn what can be seen and needs to be done from their perspective.

This section is broken into 3 sub-areas.  There are two or three real life stories given per subject of stress, anxiety and depression in the following sections of Part 2.

In this section you get to listen to two separate real life stories of people who have suffered stress in their lives, and one further story given from a therapist in an interview.  Each person has a unique situation and story to tell you about stress. 

The speakers in these two real life stories of stress are Daniel Levitin, Kelly McGonigal as well as Esther Perrel (a Belgian psychotherapist) who speaks with Helen Walters in an interview on stress in the third story.

This is a self-assessment quiz on your own stress, anxiety and depression ratings.  It is called a Dass-21 Quiz and helps you to get an overview of where you are standing at this point in time in relation to your own stress, anxiety or depression levels this week.  Each week differs from the next, so you will see variations in your scores if used on a regular basis.  The quiz is a downloadable file and can be completed offline once downloaded.

Part 3: Ten Ways of Naturally Preventing Stress, Anxiety or Depression

This section covers 10 easy methods of reducing your stress, anxiety or depression.  These are natural methods that can be used as any time and put into action.   The methods we will be covering in this section include: Staying Active, Don’t Drink Alcohol, Stop Smoking, Ditch Caffeine, Get More Sleep, Meditate, Eat a Healthy Diet, Practice Deep Breathing Methods, Crystal Healing & Pranic Healing, and Aromatherapy. 
  
It is best to start by making small changes gradually if you are looking for change.  Gradually put into action any changes so that you can see for yourself if what you are trying out for the first time is right for you or if there may be adverse effects.  Each person is different, so no two people will get the same result.

Part 3 - No 8. Practice Deep Breathing Methods

In this video we look at how to use the 'deep breathing exercise' technique.  Practicing the 'deep breath exercise' technique helps to relieve stress, anxiety and depression in your day to day life if done regularly and correctly.  The first video goes over what 'deep breathing exercises' are and how they are done.  The second video goes through the 'deep breath exercise' with you and takes you by the hand to show you how it is done with a timer to help you maintain a rhythm while doing the exercise.

Part 3 - No 9. Pranic Healing and Crystal Healing

In this video we look at how 'Pranic Healing' and 'Crystal Healing' can help in relieving stress, anxiety and depression in your day to day life.  'Pranic Healing' and 'Crystal Healing' are alternative methods of healing under the holistic healing banner.  These methods are not always promoted but are nonetheless used by people as an alternative to regular methods of healing.  Do note that 'Pranic Healing' and 'Crystal Healing' are not treatments but are healing methods used in helping to reduce stress, anxiety and signs of depression.
